3M^TM Premask Tape SCPM-3 is a transfer tape used for application of screen printed or large printed graphics to another surface. This tape aids in the handling and application of graphics and protects their surface during application.

• Premask tape SCPM-3 helps graphics resist normal surface abrasion during storage, handling and application.
• Applying this tape to graphic film or sheeting increases the stiffness of the graphic, which makes it easier to handle.
• This tape protects the graphic from staining when overpainted with most finish paints.

Unprocessed application tape has a shelf life of one year. It should be stored in a clean, dry area, out of direct sunlight, and suspended horizontally from the core.

Graphics with application tape must be applied within one year from the date of its processing and stored in a cool, dry place. Film and sheeting may be stored flat or wrapped onto cores with a minimum diameter of 6 inches (15 cm). Wrap so the side of the film with the application tape faces out.

After applying application tape, avoid exposing the graphic to sunlight except during application. Sunlight, or UV light, can cause the tape to permanently bond to the film or sheeting.
